Theo writes: “I am disappointed by the news that this evening’s Martock hustings have been cancelled, following David Warburton receiving orders from No.10 and the Conservative whips office against attending, and the pressure on national opposition parties to do the same. Theo will be answering your questions at the ‘Any Questions’ hustings at All Saints Church in Castle Cary this Thursday 18th May at 7.30pm. Come along and meet your candidate! And on Friday 19th May, there’s the Annual Village Meeting in Queen Camel, where Theo and the other candidates will be answering questions, mingling with residents and talking to local groups and organisations. This isn’t a hustings, but it is a chance to meet your Parliamentary candidates in a more informal setting. The venue is the Memorial Hall, doors open 6.30pm with the meeting starting at 7pm.
